Summary: The position of the Retail Store Manager is to oversee the daily operations of our boutique store. You will be responsible for the overall management of the store including sales, financial, operations, and human resources functions to ensure maximum profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Satisfaction

  • Drive profitability through high-levels of customer service
  • Provide customer feedback to corporate
  • Achieve and exceed company financial goals
  • Build and maintain strong customer base through booked appointments
  • Drive sales through brand and product knowledge and communicate information to Sales Associates and customers

 Inventory Management

  • Uphold and maintain accurate store inventory levels to account for accurate monthly sales
  • Lead and execute store inventory seasonally within company standards
  • Controls and manages all transfers and damaged merchandise


  • Maintain supplies and oversee expenses by store's budget (i.e., payroll, petty cash, etc.)
  • Ensures all incoming and outgoing shipments are promptly process
  • Perform opening and closing procedures by Company policies and procedures
  • Protects store assets and property
  • Update and maintain safety requirement and compliance materials to meet company and state guidelines

 Human Resources

  • Recruit, screen, and interview qualified candidates
  • Train, develop and supervise Sales Associates
  • Lead and contribute to long-term performance growth for all sales staff
  • Evaluate and administer Associate performance evaluation by Company guidelin
  • Create and implement staff scheduling to meet customer service levels
  • Facilitates HR onboarding documents to Corporate HR
  • Ensures compliance with the Employee Handbook guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Communicate all HR concerns to Human Resources Department 

Visual Merchandising / Store Maintenance

  • Maintain visual merchandising and maintenance standards
  • Ensure schematics, and visual changes are plan and executed promptly as directed by corporate
  • Maintain store appearance and cleanliness
  • Communicate merchandise opportunities and ensure merchandise is properly placed and stocked

 Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 or more years of retail store management experience (Luxury Brand preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to promote a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills (to customers, store staff and corporate)
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Effectively time-management skills
  • Available to work a flexible work schedule as required, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to recognize and schedule to business needs to achieve business demands
  • Computer proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel
  • 4-year degree preferred
  • Travel as required

 Physical Demands: The physical demands described below must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. The position requires aslo requires lifting and/or carrying and moving items over 30 lbs.
